Eisenhut - Kettle hat

from £650.00

This kettle hat has a deep brim with ocular, and elegant flared sides, a nice example of a German Kettle Hat of the mid 15th Century. Made for re-enactment and display purposes.

We have kept it full of original detailing with it having an asymmetrical skull as the crest pulls off to one side and a rougher historical grind and polish full of interesting character great for living history. Alternative finishes available. Comes as standard with a leather suspension liner. Available either welded or one piece raised, our raised version is made as close to original helmets as we can starting from a thick billet and using a power hammer to stretch it and create differential thickness in the steel, keeping it thick where it ought to be!

Head Measurement

To help us ensure your helmet fits perfectly, please provide your head measurement.

How to Measure:

  1. Use a soft measuring tape.

  2. Measure around your head, above your ears and eyebrows, where the helmet will sit.

  3. If you plan to wear the helmet over a hairstyle or other headwear (like an arming cap/coif, please keep that in mind while measuring.)

Thank you for your help!
