Shorwell banded helmet

Reproduction Shorwell helmet handmade in England by Lancaster Armoury, the original was made  500–550 AD, based on comparisons with similar helmets and the associated grave goods. It is one of only six Anglo Saxon helmets known, but it represents a different tradition. Our reproduction is made from 2mm steel using traditional methods. Made with an internal circumference of 61cm, front to back 21cm , side to side 18cm. Great for LARP, re-enactment or a fantastic display piece.
